Dear Long Beach Community Members and Organizations,
April is right around the corner, and that of course means Earth Week will soon be here. The staff at the Long Beach Office of Sustainability is beginning to compile a calendar of local events to be held throughout the week of Saturday April 21st, 2012- Saturday April 28th, 2012 in celebration of Earth Week. We are currently reaching out to organizations such as your own to find out what the local community can participate in. Once you have finalized your Earth Week event, we encourage you to email us the basic information to be featured on the calendar. This includes:
Event Name
Organization(s) Name
Date and Time
Contact Info (Email, Website, Phone Number if applicable)
1-2 sentence summary of event.
Please submit this data no later than Friday, March 2nd to brianna.pagan@longbeach.gov in order for your event to be included. The Office of Sustainability will then print and distribute the calendars throughout the city, so this is a great way to advertise and get event info out to the public.
Thank you and I look forward to working with you.
Best regards,
Brianna R. Pagan
