Causes We Support

  • The ES&P Club hosts an adopt-a-beach program along wetlands and coastlines to help remove the litter! Help the ES&P Club take action against the growing problem of debris on our beaches here in Long Beach.
  • The ES&P Club is supporting the ASI Senate in encouraging our school to purchase recycled paper and to conserve water as proposed by Long Beach City's water ordinances.  Since Long Beach State is a state run campus, they are not required to adhere to city ordinances.  It is up to us as students to put pressure on our school to be more  active in water conservation and set an example for Long Beach and the rest of California.
Newsworthy Efforts

ASI's Conservation Commission hosted an environmental fair to empower students to live sustainably by informing them of alternatives to everyday consumer choices.  The ES&P Club helped host the event and encourages others to seek alternatives, since the littlest can make the biggest difference.
